WEIRDWAVES is a two-day post-punk, synth-wave, and avant-garde festival celebrating Berlin’s underground music and urban subculture.

 At its core, WEIRDWAVES bridges the electronic and the analogue, music and drag, art and noise—amplifying expressions that thrive outside the mainstream.

 The festival emerges from the need to embrace Berlin’s independent and rebellious identity and to provide space for creative expressions rooted in the DIY punk and squatting scenes.

 In an increasingly gentrified Berlin, where corporate culture occupies ever more space, we underline the importance of supporting non-commercial music and urban subcultures!
